- Position Summary
- We are seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence to lead a team of Business Analysts responsible for delivering strategic insights and analytical support across a large and complex business portfolio. This leader will oversee analysts who support operational teams through ad hoc analysis, reporting, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.
- The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with deep analytical capabilities who can translate complex data into actionable business recommendations. This role requires someone who is comfortable working with large datasets, coaching analysts, engaging executive stakeholders, and driving a proactive culture of insight generation.
- This position is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced people manager or a highly accomplished Senior Business Analyst ready to take the next step into leadership.
- Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Analysts supporting enterprise business intelligence initiatives.
- Provide mentoring and career development opportunities to analysts.
- Establish a culture of accountability, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement.
- Guide team members in developing analytical methodologies, reporting strategies, and stakeholder engagement practices.
- Business Intelligence & Analytics
- Oversee the delivery of business insights, reporting, forecasting, and ad hoc analytical requests.
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for data-driven decision making.
- Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and actionable recommendations.
- Ensure data accuracy through auditing, validation, and quality assurance processes.
- Support enterprise forecasting efforts through collaboration with the broader Business Intelligence organization.
- Data Strategy & Reporting
- Leverage SQL and business intelligence tools to analyze and interpret large datasets.
- Guide analysts in data extraction, transformation, and reporting best practices.
- Support data modernization and warehousing initiatives, including cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Partner with technical teams to improve data accessibility, governance, and reporting capabilities.
- Drive the development and enhancement of dashboards and visualizations.
- Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and cross-functional business partners.
- Present complex analyses in a concise and executive-ready manner.
- Communicate insights and recommendations effectively to Director-level and above stakeholders.
- Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities within business performance data.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience leading analysts, mentoring team members, or managing analytical teams.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including modeling, forecasting, and complex data analysis.
- Strong SQL skills with the ability to query and analyze large datasets.
- Experience identifying business trends and translating findings into actionable insights.
- Strong data validation, auditing, and quality assurance capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely with business stakeholders.
- Experience supporting executive-level reporting and decision-making.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within healthcare, revenue cycle management, or other complex operational environments.
- Experience with Tableau development, dashboard creation, and data visualization best practices.
- Familiarity with enterprise data warehousing concepts and cloud analytics platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience supporting large-scale business intelligence organizations.
- Exposure to data migration or modernization initiatives.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional business and technology teams.

Compensation:
$100-115K
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
