Manager โ Analytics, Data Engineering & Governance to support data platform operations, governance, and compliance across marketing and analytics environments
- Key Responsibilities
- Data Platform & Snowflake Administration
- Manage and support cloud-based data platforms, including user access, role-based permissions, and data structures.
- Ensure data is accessible, organized, and usable for analytics and business applications.
- Support ingestion and management of third-party datasets.
- Troubleshoot platform, access, and data-related issues in collaboration with technical teams.
- Data Governance & Compliance
- Support governance processes for the secure and compliant use of marketing and audience data.
- Ensure adherence to data usage policies, licensing agreements, and privacy regulations.
- Maintain documentation related to access controls, data usage approvals, and governance procedures.
- Assist with audit preparation and compliance reviews.
- Sensitive Data Management
- Ensure proper handling and protection of sensitive data, including PII and PHI.
- Apply access controls and governance standards to regulated datasets.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to maintain strong data protection practices.
- Audit & Risk Management
- Support internal and external audits, including compliance frameworks such as SOC 2.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and assist with remediation activities.
- Ensure data processes align with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Data Partnerships & Integration
- Support onboarding and integration of third-party data providers.
- Maintain documentation of data sources, usage rights, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure external data is used in alignment with contractual and regulatory guidelines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with analytics, engineering, compliance, and business teams to align data practices with business needs.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Escalate complex technical or compliance issues when necessary.
- Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in data operations, governance, or analytics environments.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms.
- Experience working with regulated or sensitive data environments is preferred.
- Exposure to marketing data, audience data, or analytics platforms is a plus.
- Key Skills
- Experience with Snowflake administration, including roles, permissions, and data organization
- Basic knowledge of SQL and data querying
- Understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks
- Awareness of PII/PHI handling and security best practices
- Familiarity with SOC 2 or similar compliance standards
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to manage processes with strong attention to detail
