Join a high-growth Clinical AI startup bringing frontier AI into real clinical practice. This is a hands-on research role, you'll own research end to end on their vision foundation models and vision-language models (pretraining, post-training, RL, evals etc.), with models deployed to patients, not stuck in a lab.

Responsibilities

• Pretrain & scale foundation models (VFMs, VLMs)
• Develop post-training & RL methods (reward models, RLHF etc.)
• Take ideas from 0 -> 1 through large-scale distributed training
• Publish research and shape the direction of medical AI

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Computer Vision, VLMs, VFMs, LLM post-training or RL
• Expert in Python, PyTorch or JAX
• Large-scale distributed training experience
• PhD or Publications (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR etc. are a major plus)
