  • Our client is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support international import operations and ensure the timely movement of materials throughout the supply chain. This role is responsible for coordinating expedited ocean shipments, managing transportation activities through Blue Yonder, communicating with manufacturing facilities and carriers, and maintaining accurate shipment tracking throughout the import process.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills, exceptional attention to detail, and an interest in logistics, transportation, and international supply chain operations. The team offers extensive cross-training and opportunities to develop expertise across multiple logistics functions.
  • Job Duties
  • Execute the Direct Move Program (DMP) by coordinating expedited ocean container deliveries for manufacturing facilities.
  • Create and manage drayage and truckload shipments within Blue Yonder from initiation through delivery.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing facilities regarding shipment status, delivery timelines, and transportation updates.
  • Work directly with ocean carriers to process bill of lading amendments and shipment changes.
  • Partner with Trade Operations to prioritize customs clearance activities.
  • Manage U.S. import breakbulk shipments, including scheduling delivery appointments and coordinating crane appointments at ports.
  • Communicate with ports, carriers, receiving facilities, and transportation providers to ensure successful shipment execution.
  • Monitor drayage shipments and proactively communicate with carriers regarding dwell time and shipment delays.
  • Pull, analyze, and maintain multiple Excel reports while running queries to support daily logistics operations.
  • Review production schedules, shipping documentation, inventory reports, and transportation data for accuracy.
  • Maintain shipment documentation and inventory records while ensuring compliance with established processes.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives within a Lean environment.
