We are seeking an experienced Loan IQ Business Analyst to support the delivery, enhancement, and ongoing operation of mission-critical lending platforms for leading financial institutions. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology, partnering with stakeholders across front, middle, and back-office functions to optimize loan servicing processes, drive system improvements, and ensure operational excellence throughout the loan lifecycle.

You will act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for Loan IQ, helping shape solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience while supporting strategic transformation initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements across loan origination, servicing, repayments, restructures, and other loan lifecycle events.
  • Serve as a Loan IQ SME, supporting modules including servicing, accounting, agency deals, and integrations with upstream and downstream systems.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and solution designs for development teams and vendors.
  • Lead or support testing activities including SIT and UAT, creating test cases, managing defect resolution, and validating business outcomes.
  • Provide production support through issue triage, root cause analysis, data investigation, and coordination with technology teams and third-party vendors.
  • What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting commercial lending, syndicated loans, or loan operations environments.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Finastra Loan IQ, including servicing, accounting, agency, and loan lifecycle functionality.
  • Experience gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and delivering technology change initiatives within financial services.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience supporting reconciliations, reporting, and investigation of loan balances, interest, fees, and accounting outputs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business, technology, and vendor teams.
  • Bonus Points For
  • Experience working directly with Finastra or other loan servicing platform vendors.
  • Knowledge of loan accounting, general ledger integrations, and financial reporting processes.
  • Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and user story creation.
  • Experience supporting large-scale Loan IQ implementations, upgrades, or migration programs.
  • Familiarity with automation, workflow optimization, and operational transformation initiatives.
