• We are hiring multiple Level-1 Data Centre Field Ops Technicians with 100% travel required. This is a great entry-level field opportunity for candidates with cabling experience and an interest in hands-on technical work supporting enterprise data centre operations.
• Responsibilities
• Perform loopback testing and circuit verification.
• Install and troubleshoot fibre and copper cabling.
• Support hardware installations and data centre infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network paths and circuits.
• Follow all safety guidelines while working onsite.
• Required Skills
• 2–3 years of experience in data centre operations or structured cabling.
• Experience with fibre optic and copper cabling.
• Familiarity with cabling hand tools and testing equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Preferred Skills
• OTDR/PMLS testing
• Fusion or Mechanical Splicing
• Physical Requirements
• Lift up to 50 lbs (move up to 75 lbs).
• Comfortable working in active data center environments, including ladders and confined spaces.
• Work Location: In person
