Lending Analyst

Heitmeyer Consulting is currently looking for an Analyst - Third-Party Lending Analyst – Client Management in Columbus, OH. This is an onsite position so the person needs to live in the Columbus, OH area.

Analyst to support Client Management within a Third-Party Lending organization. This role will support the ongoing administration and oversight of third-party lending relationships, including customer setup, partnership agreements, contract renewals, investor requirements, compliance, and audit activities.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience working in banking, lending, financial services, or a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the setup and ongoing maintenance of third-party lending customers and partners.
• Maintain and monitor partnership agreements, contracts, renewals, and required documentation.
• Review lending activities and documentation for compliance with investor guidelines, internal policies, and established procedures.
• Monitor upcoming contract renewals, compliance requirements, audit activities, and other key deadlines.
• Assist with developing, maintaining, and executing audit procedures and control processes.
• Review documentation and transactions for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established requirements.
• Research and investigate discrepancies, exceptions, and compliance issues and assist with resolution.
• Prepare reports, tracking logs, and documentation for management, investors, compliance, and audit teams.
• Maintain accurate client and partner records and ensure required documentation is current.
• Work with internal teams including lending operations, compliance, legal, risk, and client management to resolve issues and maintain partner relationships.
• Identify recurring issues, process gaps, and opportunities to improve third-party lending operations.
• Support special projects and reporting initiatives related to third-party lending and client management.

• Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in banking, lending, financial services, operations, or a related analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Experience reviewing documentation, contracts, transactions, or compliance requirements.
• Strong Excel and reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple internal teams.

• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in third-party, correspondent, or commercial lending.
• Knowledge of investor guidelines and lending requirements.
• Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews, or operational controls.
• Experience with loan servicing or lending operations.
• Familiarity with financial services regulatory and compliance processes.
