Job Description:
- This role is a mid-senior individual contributor position responsible for independently owning complex analytical projects end to end, translating vague business questions into rigorous analytical frameworks, and delivering clear, actionable insights that directly influence product, marketing, and commercial decisions across the organization.
- Job Summary
- Own analytics projects end to end, from scoping the business question through analysis to final recommendation, with minimal direction and strong independent judgment.
- Support hardware revenue analytics including total market opportunity sizing, cross-sell identification, sales tactic effectiveness, forecasting, and annual operating planning.
- Translate technical findings into clear, compelling recommendations for senior business stakeholders through verbal communication, written insights, and data visualizations; anticipate follow-up questions and proactively address them before delivery.
- Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant analytics experience in product, marketing, growth, or business analytics, with demonstrated end-to-end project ownership at the individual contributor level.
- Expert-level SQL skills with a proven ability to independently access, extract, and manipulate complex datasets without reliance on a data engineering team.
- Familiarity with sales operations, finance-adjacent analytics, or commercial revenue analytics including forecasting and operating planning.
- Demonstrated ability to take an ambiguous or vague business question and independently define an analytical approach, scope the analysis, and deliver a recommendation.
- 2 or more years of dashboard-building experience using Power BI, Tableau, or comparable tools.
- Proficiency in Python; candidates with an R background are also considered.
- Strong business acumen and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical findings into language that non-technical stakeholders can act on.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, or a related field with significant analytical coursework.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of experimentation and causal inference experience in a product or marketing context.
- Experience with Azure, or other cloud data environments such as AWS.
- Background in SaaS, digital products, or technology environments where similar customer acquisition, engagement, adoption, and retention funnels are present.
- Experience in Big 4 or consulting environments, valued for strong communication skills and exposure to varied business problems across industries.
- MBA or Master's degree in a related analytical field.
