Role Description: The Lead Data Engineer (Snowflake + DBT) is a full-time, on-site role based in Dallas, Raleigh, NC, and Phoenix, AZ. This role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures on Snowflake, using DBT for data transformation and modeling. The Lead Data Engineer will collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to define data requirements, optimize data workflows, and ensure high data quality and reliability. Typical responsibilities include developing ETL/ELT processes, implementing data warehousing solutions, improving performance, monitoring data systems, and documenting technical solutions and standards. The role also involves mentoring other team members, promoting best practices in data engineering, and supporting ongoing enhancements to the data platform.

Key Requirements:

• · Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT
• · Experience designing and building scalable cloud-based data platforms and ELT pipelines
• · Strong SQL and data engineering expertise
• · Previous experience leading or mentoring data engineering teams is preferred
