- Lead Data Engineer | 10–15 Years | Relocation Anywhere in USA
- We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer with 10–15 years of experience in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data platforms and pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud technologies, big data frameworks, ETL/ELT processes, and modern data engineering practices.
- Required Skills:
- 10–15 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering
- Strong expertise in Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark, and ETL/ELT development
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, or BigQuery
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and modern data architectures
- Experience with Kafka, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or similar data integration tools
- Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and performance optimization
- Experience leading engineering teams and mentoring developers
- Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
- Build and optimize cloud-based data platforms and data warehouse solutions.
- Develop data ingestion, transformation, and processing frameworks.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and performance across data platforms.
- Perform code reviews and establish data engineering best practices.
- Mentor team members and provide technical leadership throughout project delivery.
