Role Description The Junior IT Business Analyst will support business and technology teams by gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements for IT projects. This contract role involves assisting in the evaluation of current business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and helping translate business needs into functional specifications. The position includes coordinating with stakeholders, supporting meetings and workshops, and preparing reports, diagrams, and workflow documentation. The Junior IT Business Analyst will also help test solutions, track issues, and ensure that delivered systems align with business objectives. This is a hybrid role based in Richardson, TX, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
Foundational Business Analysis experience, including gathering and documenting Business Requirements.
Understanding of Business Process workflows and ability to support process mapping and improvement initiatives.
Basic knowledge of Information Technology concepts and exposure to IT projects or systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Richardson, TX, managing both on-site and remote responsibilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced consulting environment.
