  • Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Washington DC–Baltimore Area for a Junior Industrial Base Analyst. The analyst will support research and analysis of industrial base capabilities, supply chains, and market conditions relevant to client missions. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and interpreting data from multiple sources, preparing briefings and reports, and assisting in the development of recommendations to mitigate risk and enhance resilience. The role also involves working closely with senior analysts and client stakeholders, contributing to project documentation, and supporting presentations and stakeholder meetings. The Junior Industrial Base Analyst will help ensure data integrity, maintain project tracking tools, and assist with ongoing process improvements in support of industrial base assessments.
  • Qualifications
  • Analytical and research skills, including the ability to collect, interpret, and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data related to industrial base, supply chains, and market trends.
  • Technical and digital proficiency, such as strong Excel and data visualization skills, familiarity with databases or analytic tools, and comfort working with structured datasets.
  • Communication and documentation abilities, including clear written and verbal communication, experience preparing reports and briefings, and attention to detail in editing and formatting deliverables.
  • Project support and collaboration skills, including task organization, time management, ability to follow structured methodologies, and effective teamwork with senior staff and client stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, supply chain, public policy, data analytics, international relations, or a related field; relevant internships or entry-level experience in analysis, consulting, or government/defense work are beneficial.
  • Demonstrated interest in industrial base resilience, national security, defense industry, or government consulting; ability to work on-site in the Washington DC–Baltimore Area.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required government clearances or suitability determinations, if applicable.
