Role Description The Junior Data Intelligence Consultant will support data-driven initiatives for client projects, working on-site in Chicago, IL in a full-time capacity. This role involves assisting in data collection, transformation, and analysis to help clients make informed business decisions. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with senior consultants to build and refine data models, preparing reports and dashboards, and supporting data quality checks. The consultant will contribute to ETL processes, document technical and business requirements, and help interpret complex data sets into actionable insights. The role also includes close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data solutions align with client objectives and standards.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
Foundational experience or coursework in Data Science and Data Analytics.
Knowledge of Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools.
Understanding of Data Modeling concepts and relational database structures.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Familiarity with SQL and at least one data analysis or visualization tool (e.g., Python, R, Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative, on-site environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn from senior team members.
