• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of data pipelines and data infrastructure. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about data technologies and eager to build scalable solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.
• Key Responsibilities
• Assist in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Support data integration from multiple sources into centralized data platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with data analysts, business intelligence teams, and software engineers.
• Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation activities.
• Help maintain databases, data warehouses, and cloud-based data environments.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for data processes and systems.
• Support data governance, security, and compliance initiatives.
• Optimize data processing performance and system efficiency.
• Participate in data engineering projects and continuous improvement efforts.
• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in data engineering, software development, database management, or a related technical role.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with Python, Java, Scala, or similar programming languages.
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and database concepts.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with data engineering tools such as Apache Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or Databricks.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Relevant certifications in cloud, database, or data technologies are a plus.
