Junior Data Analyst – Role Description & Qualifications
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Analyst to support data management, reporting, and business analysis activities within the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and the ability to interpret data accurately to support operational and strategic decision-making.
The Junior Data Analyst will assist in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and presenting data from multiple sources to help improve business performance and operational efficiency. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work with large datasets while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Key responsibilities include preparing reports and dashboards, monitoring data quality, identifying trends and patterns, supporting performance analysis, and assisting with data-driven recommendations. The position may also involve maintaining databases, verifying information accuracy, generating insights for management, and collaborating with different departments to support business objectives and reporting requirements.
The successful candidate should be comfortable working with spreadsheets, reporting tools, databases, and data visualization platforms. Familiarity with data analysis techniques, statistical concepts, reporting systems, and workflow management processes is highly beneficial. The ability to interpret information clearly and present findings in an understandable manner is essential for this role.
