  • Role Description The Junior Data Analyst role is a full-time remote position focused on supporting data-driven decisions across Jobrion’s products and operations. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple internal and external sources, and preparing datasets for analysis and reporting. The Junior Data Analyst will create and maintain dashboards and reports, perform basic statistical analysis, and identify trends to improve features such as job matching and resume optimization. This role collaborates with product, operations, and marketing teams to translate business questions into analytical tasks and to present clear, actionable insights. The position also includes documenting data processes, ensuring data quality, and continuously learning new tools and methods to enhance analytical capabilities.
  • Qualifications
  • Strong foundational skills in data analysis, including data cleaning, transformation, and exploratory analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar.
  • Ability to work with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to build clear dashboards and reports.
  • Basic understanding of statistics and analytics concepts (e.g., descriptive statistics, trend analysis, hypothesis testing) and their application to business questions.
  • Proficiency in at least one analytical or scripting language (e.g., Python or R) for working with datasets and automating routine tasks is preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with HR tech, recruitment, or job search platforms is a plus, as is any experience with ATS-related data or resume analytics.
