- Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Writer role based in Adelaide, SA. The Writer will develop clear, engaging content that explains Fortia Minerals’ operations, safety practices, and environmental commitments for internal and external audiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and editing reports, articles, website copy, and marketing materials, as well as preparing communications for stakeholders, partners, and regulatory bodies. The Writer will collaborate with operations, safety, and environmental teams to gather information, translate technical concepts into accessible language, and ensure content is accurate and aligned with brand guidelines. The role also involves maintaining a consistent tone of voice across all channels and supporting documentation for presentations, proposals, and internal communication initiatives.
- Qualifications
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate content for diverse audiences.
- Experience in research and information gathering, including interviewing subject matter experts and reviewing technical or regulatory documents.
- Ability to adapt complex technical, industrial, or environmental topics into accessible, reader-friendly language.
- Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, structure, and consistency across documents and platforms.
- Prior experience in corporate communications, technical writing, or content development within industrial, mining, or energy sectors is an advantage.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams on-site in Adelaide, SA.
- Proficiency with standard office and document tools (e.g., word processing, presentation software) and basic familiarity with digital content formats.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Technical Writing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
