- Junior Data Analyst – Role Description & Qualifications
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Analyst to support data collection, reporting, and business intelligence activities that help drive informed decision-making and organizational performance. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and a passion for transforming data into meaningful insights.
- The Junior Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, organizing, validating, and analyzing data from various sources to support operational, financial, and strategic initiatives. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work with large datasets while maintaining data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Key responsibilities include preparing reports, dashboards, and performance summaries, conducting data validation and cleansing activities, monitoring data quality, identifying trends and patterns, and supporting business performance analysis. Familiarity with data analysis methodologies, statistical concepts, data visualization techniques, and reporting best practices is highly beneficial. Strong quantitative and analytical skills are essential for interpreting information and presenting findings in a clear, concise, and actionable format.
- Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, curiosity, and strong communication skills. A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and the ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines are highly valued. - Preferred qualifications include a background in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or related fields. Previous experience in reporting, research, administration, operations support, data management, or analytical projects will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with reporting software, database systems, business intelligence platforms, data visualization tools, SQL, or analytical applications is also beneficial.
