Role Description The Owner role at GLEXTEL is a full-time, on-site position based in Asyūţ. The Owner is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of the company, defining business goals, and ensuring sustainable growth across existing and new markets. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing operations, guiding senior managers, reviewing financial performance, and making key decisions on investments, partnerships, and service expansion. The role involves managing client relationships, ensuring high service quality, and maintaining compliance with regional telecom regulations and company policies. The Owner also leads organizational development initiatives, supports talent acquisition and retention, and represents GLEXTEL in high-level negotiations and public or industry-facing engagements.
Qualifications
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills, with experience guiding complex business operations.
Extensive knowledge of telecom networks (GSM and fixed) and familiarity with regional market dynamics in the Middle East and Africa.
Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and performance analysis to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for working with clients, partners, and internal teams.
Demonstrated ability to build and manage high-performing teams, foster inclusive workplaces, and drive organizational development.
Experience in business development, contract management, and long-term customer relationship management in a technical services environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Asyūţ, with readiness to travel regionally if required.
