Role Description The Junior Data Analyst (Entry / Junior Level) will support data collection, cleaning, and validation for various operational and impact-related datasets. This is a part-time, remote role focused on organizing and analyzing data related to milk production, payments, member participation, and service delivery across multiple districts. Day-to-day tasks include preparing basic reports and dashboards, assisting in data modeling and statistical analysis, and helping identify trends that can improve decision-making for management and field teams. The role also involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to clarify data requirements, documenting data processes, and maintaining accurate records in spreadsheets or simple databases. The analyst will contribute to improving data quality and accessibility, ensuring that insights are presented clearly and are useful for both technical and non-technical team members.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Analytical Skills and Data Analytics, with the ability to interpret data and derive meaningful insights.
Basic understanding of Statistics and Data Modeling to support simple analyses, forecasting, and trend identification.
Effective Communication skills to present findings clearly and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in common data tools such as Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
Entry-level experience or coursework in data analysis, economics, agriculture, or related fields; exposure to rural development or dairy/agri value chains is beneficial.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, agriculture, or a related discipline is preferred.
