Role Description The Junior Data Analyst (Entry / Junior Level) will support data-driven decision-making across SEBACO’s building and OUTDOOR INDOOR activities in a part-time, remote role. Day-to-day tasks include collecting, cleaning, and organizing operational and sales data from various internal systems and spreadsheets. The role involves performing basic data analysis, generating reports, and creating simple dashboards to highlight trends, performance indicators, and opportunities for improvement. The Junior Data Analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify data needs, document data definitions, and prepare visual summaries for non-technical audiences. The position also includes maintaining data quality standards, assisting with ad hoc analysis requests, and contributing to the continuous improvement of reporting processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and a foundational understanding of Data Analytics.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Statistics, including basic descriptive and inferential methods.
Candidates should possess competencies in Data Modeling and structured data organization.
Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
Familiarity with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and introductory experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is beneficial.
A relevant educational background in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, including current enrollment or recent graduation.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively in a part-time schedule, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail is important.
Interest in the construction, building services, or sports equipment sectors, and willingness to learn company-specific tools and processes, will be considered an asset.
