Role Description This part-time remote Junior Data Analyst role at POPULATION SERVICES INTERNATIONAL COTE D'IVOIRE focuses on supporting data-driven decision-making for public health programs. The Junior Data Analyst will assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various internal and external sources. The role involves preparing basic reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate trends and program performance to project teams. The Junior Data Analyst will collaborate with senior analysts to perform routine data checks, document data processes, and ensure data quality standards are met. The role also includes contributing to ad hoc analyses, supporting survey data management, and maintaining clear documentation for datasets and reporting tools.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics capabilities.
Candidates should possess basic knowledge of Statistics and experience applying statistical concepts to datasets.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Candidates should possess an understanding of Data Modeling principles for organizing and structuring data.
Basic proficiency in spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
Experience with at least one data analysis or scripting language (e.g., SQL, R, or Python) is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Relevant academic background in statistics, data science, public health, economics, or a related field at the entry or junior level is preferred.
