Role Description This part-time remote Junior Data Analyst role at Organisation des Professionnels de la Sécurité Événementielle (OPSE) focuses on supporting data-driven decisions related to event security operations. The Junior Data Analyst will assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing datasets from various internal and external sources. Daily tasks include performing basic data analysis, generating reports and dashboards, and visualizing key metrics to support operational and strategic initiatives. The role involves collaborating with team members to understand data requirements, documenting methods and findings, and maintaining accurate records of analyses. The Junior Data Analyst will also help identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement using structured data.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and support evidence-based recommendations.
Candidates should possess foundational Data Analytics skills, including experience with spreadsheets, basic querying, and data visualization tools.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Statistics to apply basic statistical concepts, summarize data, and understand variability and significance.
Candidates should possess Communication skills to present findings clearly, prepare concise reports, and collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
Candidates should possess familiarity with Data Modeling concepts to structure data logically and support accurate reporting and analysis.
Basic proficiency with tools such as Excel or Google Sheets; exposure to SQL or business intelligence platforms is an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
Relevant coursework or a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
Interest in event management, public safety, or security operations is beneficial.
