Role Description This part-time remote Junior Data Analyst role at Independiente focuses on supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. The team member will collect, clean, and organize data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Day-to-day tasks include performing basic data analysis, generating reports and dashboards, and helping interpret trends and patterns. The Junior Data Analyst will collaborate with colleagues to translate findings into clear, actionable insights and will document methods, results, and data processes to support ongoing improvement. Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and a foundational understanding of data analytics techniques.
Basic knowledge of statistics to interpret data distributions, correlations, and trends.
Exposure to or interest in data modeling concepts for organizing and structuring data.
Clear written and verbal communication skills to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with spreadsheets and introductory data tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or basic BI tools); experience with SQL or a programming language such as Python or R is a plus.
Ability to manage time effectively in a remote, part-time environment and work collaboratively with a distributed team.
Attention to detail, curiosity about data, and willingness to learn new tools and methods.
Relevant coursework or training in data analytics, statistics, computer science, economics, or a related field; a degree in progress or completed is beneficial but not required if skills are demonstrated.
