The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is currently seeking candidates for a full-time Joint Target Analyst, GG-0132-13, located at Cyberspace Operations, Fort Meade, MD.

Salary Range: $106,000 - $120,000

This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.

In this position, you will serve as an experienced intelligence specialist and senior joint targeting authority for US Cyber Command's (USCYBERCOM) Cyber National Mission Force (CNMF) to counter foreign cyberspace operations directed against the United States. You will produce formal and informal joint target nominations, joint targeting reports, briefings, and effects assessments based on comprehensive functional analysis of threat target systems and their capacity to operate through technical and non-technical means. You will provide accurate and timely joint targeting solutions that enable supported combatant commanders to successfully plan and conduct future cyberspace effect operations.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Must sign a non-disclosure agreement.
• This is a designated drug testing position.
• Knowledge of a wide range of intelligence disciplines, processing and exploitation techniques, as well as dissemination methods of multi-source intelligence information that directly or indirectly affects national security.
• Advanced knowledge of the joint targeting cycle leveraged against complex technical systems and its application within USCYBERCOM and its components. Graduate of a DoD targeting school (e.g., Joint Targeting Staff Course, U.S. Air Force Combat Targeting Course) or possess comparable joint targeting experience. Knowledge of policy and doctrine such as JP 3-60, JP 3-12, and CJCSI Series (3160, 3162, 3370, etc.).
• Knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint and DoD structures, organizations, missions, functions, interrelationships and operations. Comprehensive knowledge of the USCYBERCOM target area of responsibility (AOR) is desired.
• In compliance with DoDI 5210.45 the incumbent is subject to the security cognizance of the Director, NSA/Chief, CSS and must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1. Favorable determination of requisite access is required within 280 calendar days of entry on duty date
• An advanced intelligence or cyber related professional/scientific degree is desired
• Previous work experience in cyber and/or intelligence operations is highly desired.

Desired Experience: Entity-level target development, collateral damage estimation (CDE), battle damage assessment (BDA), electronic target folders (ETF), Modernized Integrated Database (MIDB), Joint Targeting School, Cyber National Mission Force (CNMF), and USCYBERCOM.
