About The Role
Revolution Space is seeking a dedicated IT Support Analyst to join our expanding IT team. This role is critical in supporting our rapid growth within a highly secure and compliance-driven environment, specifically aligned with CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800-171 standards. As an IT Support Analyst, you will serve as the frontline for end-user support, managing day-to-day technical issues, workstation deployment, identity management, and hardware inventory. You will take ownership of the deployment queue and ticket backlog, enabling senior IT leadership to focus on strategic infrastructure and security initiatives. This position requires a proactive, independent thinker who can exercise sound judgment, handle multiple priorities, and maintain meticulous documentation to support our compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant IT support or helpdesk experience, preferably within an MSP or regulated corporate environment. A bachelor's degree in IT or related fields, coupled with relevant certifications, is essential. Hands-on experience with Windows and macOS desktop administration and troubleshooting is required, along with familiarity with Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Entra ID (Azure AD) user and group management. A fundamental understanding of networking concepts such as subnets, VLANs, and DNS is necessary. Experience with centralized deployment and imaging tools like SmartDeploy or equivalents is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to quickly learn new tools and adapt to shifting priorities is crucial. Certifications such as Microsoft Azure/M365, Cisco CCENT/CCNA, CompTIA Security+, or ISC2 SSCP are preferred; CompTIA A+ is a plus but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for a range of duties including:
- Providing frontline technical support by triaging and resolving helpdesk tickets related to Windows 10/11, macOS, Microsoft 365, Teams, and connectivity issues through our SharePoint-based ticketing system.
- Managing workstation deployment, including unboxing, asset tagging, imaging, testing, and shipping to both local and remote staff, utilizing centralized deployment and imaging tools.
- Handling user provisioning, password resets, and MFA troubleshooting within Microsoft Entra ID for internal staff and external contractors.
- Supporting basic SharePoint site administration and configuration to facilitate team collaboration and document management.
- Managing software licenses for engineering and business applications in accordance with established IT protocols.
- Maintaining hardware inventory, tracking assets, coordinating vendor warranty repairs, and managing spare stock to ensure operational readiness.
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation of hardware changes, software provisioning, and ticket resolutions to support our compliance with CMMC Level 2 standards.
- Overseeing new user setup, including laptop configuration and account creation, ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
- Participating in an on-call rotation to address after-hours and emergency IT support needs, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity.
