- IT Supply Chain Business Analyst
- Location: Seattle, WA
- Duration : Long Term
Supply Chain IT Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in retail supply chain processes and hands-on experience in data analysis and system integration. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring accurate data flow, system alignment, and actionable insights across supply chain planning systems.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Domain Expertise
- • Strong understanding of retail supply chain processes, including:
- o Inventory management
- o Demand forecasting
- o Order management and replenishment
- • Good knowledge of supply chain planning inputs and outputs (on-hand, receipts, orders, forecast).
- Technical Skills
- • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation.
- • Working knowledge of data lake architectures and processes such as:
- o Snapshotting
- o Incremental data loads
- o Data versioning
- Analytical Skills
- • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- • Ability to trace and understand complex data flows across multiple systems.
- Tools & Technologies (Preferred)
- • Experience with:
- o Data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Lake)
- o Supply chain systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, O9, etc.)
- o Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Preferred Qualifications
- • Experience working in retail industry environments.
- • Exposure to end-to-end supply chain planning solutions.
- • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Key Competencies
- • Strong communication and stakeholder management
- • Detail-oriented with focus on data accuracy
- • Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- • Documentation and presentation skills
