SYSTEMTEC is seeking an IT Service Desk Analyst I for a remote opportunity working EST hours. Candidate will provide first-level IT support for end users in a remote environment. This role requires a strong customer-service mindset, professional communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a fast-paced support setting.

Required Qualifications for the IT Service Desk Analyst I:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical customer service
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, computer hardware, and networking concepts
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and mobile device support
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor with excellent customer-facing and executive presence skills
  • Ability to document technical issues clearly and accurately within a ticketing system
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel occasionally to regional office locations
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with reliable high-speed internet access
  • Preferred Skills/Experience of the IT Service Desk Analyst I:
  • Experience using help desk or ticket management systems
  • Exposure to remote support tools and troubleshooting utilities
  • Understanding of basic IT service management and escalation procedures
  • Experience supporting printers, peripherals, and mobile devices
  • Ability to learn new technologies and internal processes quickly

Responsibilities of the IT Service Desk Analyst I:

  • Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, chat, and remote support tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues
  • Document incidents, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Escalate unresolved or complex technical issues to appropriate support teams
  • Perform occasional onsite support visits to regional office locations as needed
  • Maintain high-quality customer service while meeting service expectations and response timelines

Work Location: Remote. EST Hours.
