IT Operations Support Analyst

The company seeks qualified candidates to assist with the monitoring of critical systems, both hardware and software, from various systems throughout our agencies; configuration and optimization of alarms and alerts that come from various systems throughout our agencies. The goal to eliminate the “white noise” of nuisance alarms and assure that needed alerts are send to the correct parties. This will include facility temperature alerts, CPU, memory, and space utilization on servers, APC Netbotz devices, Oracle databases and hardware. Familiarity tools from Putty to Solar Winds is a plus. t Temperature alerts, HP servers, APC Netbotz devices will be the core mission. Familiarity with Building Management Systems is a plus. Familiarity with Solar Winds is also a plus. Candidates with experience in the selection, install and upgrade of field hardware are encouraged to apply.

• As part of a 24x 7 team, the ideal candidate will come with experience in operations. They will be responsible for opening tickets as needed and assisting Sys Admins with resolution; assist our team in the development of new tools to monitor the health of critical systems including SQL and Oracle databases, and hardware operations on a broad range of platforms. They will run pre-written scripted jobs in multiple environments including Windows, Linux and AS/400
• Strong knowledge of basic MS Office tools is required. The ability to clearly communicate via phone and email is essential.
