Job Description

As an IT Financial Planning Analyst at Ubisoft Montréal, you will support budget planning for the information technology department and coordinate financial tracking with the teams involved. You will share findings with IT teams, internal partners and management during monthly and quarterly reviews.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a point of contact for IT department costs
• Prepare budget reviews to help managers track their budgets
• Present budgets and financial results to IT management, teams and internal partners
• Work with the IT Financial Planning team on monthly closing, including provisions and the financial impact on profit and loss
• Track hosting and infrastructure transformation project budgets with the teams involved to anticipate financial impacts
• Suggest improvements to IT cost models
• Review costs to identify discrepancies and budget risks
• Help automate, standardize and improve financial processes
• Define performance indicators to track department activities and transformation project costs
• Improve activity reports

Qualifications

What you bring to the team

• Use Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI to prepare and present financial information
• Communicate financial results clearly, including to management
• Organize your work carefully and take initiative
• Review data and summarize key findings
• Show an interest in the video game industry
• Communicate fluently in English, as stated in the original description
• Bring, as assets, skills in artificial intelligence, automation, VBA, Java and web programming, data science and business intelligence
• Bring, as assets, experience in IT finance and established proficiency with tools such as Anaplan, MicroStrategy, HFM and PeopleSoft

Information about the team

You will join the coordination team in Ubisoft’s IT department. The department includes teams supporting a range of products and technologies, including cybersecurity tools, technologies that support our games and teams, and infrastructure transformation projects.
