About The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team at USM, supporting our Trading & Supply technology initiatives. This pivotal role acts as the vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business needs into scalable and effective technological solutions. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of commodity trading operations and hands-on experience with the Endur platform. In this role, you will collaborate across multiple teams to drive requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and implementation, contributing to the modernization of critical business capabilities. The position offers an excellent opportunity to influence strategic initiatives and work on innovative projects within a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in corporate IT environments.
- Minimum of 4 years dedicated to Business Analysis within IT projects.
- Extensive hands-on experience supporting Trading & Supply organizations.
- Proven expertise working with the Endur platform.
- Experience with Cmotion, Deal Capture (Front Office), Settlements & Accounting (Back Office), or Tax modules is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and translate these into clear, actionable technical requirements.
- Gather, document, and manage both functional and non-functional requirements throughout project lifecycles.
- Analyze current business processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness improvements.
- Evaluate potential solutions by assessing their business value, feasibility, associated risks, and impacts on existing systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive business requirements and process documentation to ensure traceability from design through implementation.
- Collaborate closely with developers, software vendors, architects, and project teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Support software configuration, coordinate testing activities, and validate solutions to ensure quality standards are met.
- Lead business analysis activities across multiple technology initiatives, balancing project scope, schedule, cost, and quality constraints.
- Participate actively in Agile teams, contributing to continuous process improvements and iterative delivery.
- Ensure all requirements are traceable and aligned with project goals, facilitating smooth communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
