Investment Portfolio Manager/Financial Planning Analyst

Hubbard Financial Group, a comprehensive Wealth Management and Financial Planning firm, affiliated with Northwestern Mutual in Waverly, IA is expanding.

Primary responsibilities include:

• · Investment analysis - Build and monitor portfolios - Review performance and rebalance assets as necessary
• · Financial Planning Analysis, including Tax Planning, Estate Planning and Wealth Management
• · Conduct portfolio analysis, market research and economic forecasting
• · Identify investment opportunities and risks
• · Collaborate with analysts, traders, and financial advisors.
• · Meet with clients to review portfolio performance and adjust strategies.
• · Prepare performance reports and investment recommendations
• · Help maintain client relationship management and service
• · Working within a collaborative team environment for the benefit of our clients
• · Strong communication with teammates, clients, and vendors, which includes email, phone, and in-person meetings
• · Responsible for public communication on investment, financial planning, and economic conditions, updates and thought leadership

Ideal candidate will have:

• · Several years experience in the financial services industry and/or tax/economic industry
• · Insurance and securities licenses required (will need to have/obtain the following: Life/Health, SIE, Series 6, 63 & 7)
• · Prefer CPA, CFP, or CFA or similar industry designation/education
• · Qualified candidate should possess an aggressive “can-do” attitude and have proven ability to work independently and have entrepreneurial spirit
• · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and work a flexible schedule, including early mornings or after 5:00
• · May include some travel
• · Analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• · Team player with direct access to decision makers
• · Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• · High ethical, compliance, and confidentiality standards are a must
