Investment Banking Senior Analyst - Fintech

We are working with a leading Investment Banking platform that is looking to add a Senior Analyst to its growing FinTech / Financial Institutions Group (FIG) team in New York.

The team has a particular focus on Depositories and is seeking an ambitious investment banker who is interested in developing specialist expertise within this area.

Candidates with broader FIG or Financial Institutions experience will also be considered, particularly those with a genuine interest in building a career focused on Depositories.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of M&A and strategic advisory transactions across FinTech, FIG and Depositories
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses
• Prepare pitch books, marketing materials and transaction documentation
• Conduct industry, company and market research
• Work closely with senior bankers and clients throughout the transaction process
• Support business development initiatives and identify new opportunities
• Gain exposure to senior management teams and sophisticated financial institution clients

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

• Investment Banking experience at Senior Analyst level
• Experience within FinTech, FIG, or a related sector
• Strong M&A and/or strategic advisory experience
• Excellent financial modelling and valuation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• A genuine interest in Depositories and the broader FinTech ecosystem

Depositories experience is highly desirable but not essential.

Candidates from other areas of FIG will be considered where they have strong transaction experience and a clear interest in developing expertise within the Depositories sector.
