Role Description The Investment Banking Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in San Diego County, CA. This role is responsible for building and maintaining detailed financial models to support mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other strategic transactions. The analyst will conduct industry and company research, perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, and assist in due diligence processes. Day-to-day tasks include preparing presentation materials, pitch books, and transaction documentation, as well as supporting senior team members in client meetings and internal reviews. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Financial Modeling and Finance skills.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills and Due Diligence capabilities.
Candidates should possess knowledge and experience in Investment Banking.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases; familiarity with valuation techniques and capital markets.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Ability to work on-site in San Diego County, CA, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and to manage time and priorities effectively.
