Role Overview
The Investment Banking Analyst supports financial analysis, transaction execution, and research activities that help clients make strategic investment and financing decisions. This role involves building financial models, preparing valuation analyses, developing presentation materials, and conducting market research. Working closely with senior bankers and cross-functional teams, the Investment Banking Analyst contributes to mergers and acquisitions, capital-raising initiatives, and other advisory projects. Key Responsibilities
• Develop detailed financial models to support valuation, forecasting, and transaction analysis.

• Perform valuation analyses using methods such as discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
• Prepare pitchbooks, presentations, and transaction materials for clients and senior leadership.
• Assist in due diligence by gathering, reviewing, and analyzing financial and operational information.
• Support the execution of mergers, acquisitions, equity offerings, and other financial transactions.
• Monitor financial markets, maintain databases, and update comparable company and transaction comps.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow throughout engagements.
• Review and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency in all analyses and deliverables.
• Help evaluate strategic alternatives and develop recommendations based on analytical findings.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, financial analysis, or a related area.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and capital markets.
• High proficiency in Excel and presentation software commonly used in financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and quantitative reasoning.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present complex information clearly.
