Investment Banking Analyst @ Highly Repuatable Firm

Coda Search is partnering with a fast-growing, highly reputable firm that is seeking to hire an Analyst with offices located in NYC. This is a high-performing team where the Analyst will work on complex, high-impact transactions alongside senior bankers in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, a solid foundation in financial modeling, and a passion for executing strategic advisory assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of M&A transactions for sell-side advisory
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support valuation and transaction execution.
• Prepare client presentations, pitch books, board materials, confidential information memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and other transaction-related documentation.
• Conduct detailed industry, market, and company-specific research to identify trends, evaluate strategic opportunities, and support client recommendations.
• Coordinate due diligence efforts, manage virtual data rooms, and facilitate information flow among clients, buyers, investors, and external advisors.
• Monitor transaction progress, manage project timelines, and ensure the timely completion of key deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Analyze financial statements, operating metrics, and business performance to support strategic and financial recommendations for clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a related field
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Capital IQ, Bloomberg)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• High attention to detail and strong work ethic
