Investment Analyst – Role Description & Qualifications
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to support investment research, financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and strategic investment decision-making. The ideal candidate should possess strong quantitative skills, financial acumen, and the ability to evaluate investment opportunities across various asset classes and industries.
The Investment Analyst will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, market research, valuation assessments, and performance monitoring while providing insights and recommendations that support investment strategies and portfolio growth. This role requires excellent analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of financial markets.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct investment research on companies, industries, markets, and economic trends.
Analyze financial statements, business performance, and valuation metrics.
Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and investment analyses.
Perform company, industry, and competitive landscape assessments.
Monitor investment portfolios and track performance against benchmarks.

Required Skills & Competencies
Strong financial analysis, valuation, and quantitative skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience in investment analysis, equity research, asset management, private equity, venture capital, investment banking, corporate finance, or related financial roles is preferred.
Familiarity with financial databases, investment research platforms, and analytical tools.
Knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, portfolio management, and capital markets.
Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, FRM, or progress toward such qualifications are highly desirable.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or financial analytics tools is an advantage.
