  • Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
  • - To perform the functions necessary to reconcile all inventory grief, including on-hand overages and shortages, supplier discrepancies, operations return grief, receipt grief, shipment errors, and posting receipts. Maintains cooperative team relationships with onsite 3PL. Must perform systematic SAP Mach1 (or other materials system) research based on historical inventory movements to determine appropriate course of action for reconciliation.

  • - This role is an important role as this person will be “boots on the ground” in our Houston CPC location. It’s important that we have accurate inventory to best serve our customers. The actions that will be conducted will have a huge impact on the success of our CPC and will keep our customers coming back for more business.

Typical task breakdown:

Performs random and scheduled inventory and receipt audits as directed. Must be able to work independently while promoting cooperative team relationships in day-to-day support of the facility and 3PL. Conduct counts on physical inventory, track inventory, and identify sources of discrepancy. Communicate all adjustments and issues to Supply Chain Management group. Investigate and document Root Cause Corrective Action for discrepancies.

Performs various reconciliation functions relating to inventory control and receipt accuracy of Client on-hand material, supplier discrepancies and shipment errors. Work location is at our Houston, TX EPC (Equipment Processing Center).

  • - Reporting directly into the work director. 6 total on the team.

Work environment:

- This candidate will sit onsite at the 3PL location: 7561 South Sam Houston Parkway, Houston, TX 77075. Will sit in the office but there will be inside and outside storage and manufacturing facility. PPE: Vests will be provided, steel toed shoes and will be partially reimbursed.

Will not go into the Client office but will be tied to TX-Houston-Office.

Education & Experience Required:

  • - Years of experience: 2-4 years experience
  • - Degree requirement: High School Diploma. Will accept Bachelor’s but will still need the 2-4 years of experience.
  • - Do you accept internships as job experience: Yes
  • - Are there past or additional job titles or roles that would provide comparable background to this role: Record Accuracy role, Inventory Management
