Job Description

Collaborates with team members to design, develop, and implement data solutions for department projects. Analyzes project requirements and translates them into technical specifications. Develops and maintains data processes, including file ingestion, extraction, tracking, and automation. Utilizes ETL tools and methodologies to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to data processes and systems. Provides documentation and training to team members on data solutions and processes. Monitors project progress and ensures timely completion of tasks. Communicates effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates. Implements best practices in data security and compliance. Optimizes data solutions for performance and scalability. Collaborates with other departments to integrate data solutions across the organization. Provides support and guidance to team members on technical issues. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of ETL, ELT and other query tools and methodologies including but not limited to tools like Informatica, Toad, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Impala and D-Beaver.
• Knowledge of and experience with cloud computing options and implementations including but not limited to Microsoft Azure and Snowflake environments.
• Intermediate database development knowledge including performance tuning in Oracle, Big Data, SQL Server, and Cloud (Azure & Snowflake) environments.
• Experience using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
• Understanding of database design concepts and techniques for OLAP versus OLTP.
• Knowledge of and experience with data, data flows, data warehousing, data curation and data governance concepts, techniques, and best practices.
• Understanding of entity relationship diagrams and resulting physical database objects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to clearly articulate solution alternatives.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks.
• Experience following the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
• Knowledge of relational data structures, theories, principles, and practices
• Desire and aptitude to learn new tools.
• Familiarity with EMR data models
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability provide guidance to peers. [Required]
• Healthcare industry experience
• Performance tuning experience in Oracle databases, big data Cloudera environments, cloud computing in Snowflake on Microsoft Azure and other database platforms as required.
• Ability to work well with all levels of a complex matrix environment.
• Familiarity with the latest software used for front end applications, including but not limited to Power BI, OBIEE, Qlik and Tableau [Preferred]

• Bachelor's [Required]
• Master's [Preferred]

Field Of Study

• degree (or foreign equivalent of bachelor’s degree) or higher in Information
• degree (or foreign equivalent of master’s degree) in Business Administration, Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering

Work Experience

• 3+ years of experience in information technology. [Required]
• 3+ years of experience with relational data structures, theories, principles, and practices [Required]
• 4+ years of experience in data architecture and data management with experience in data warehouse architecture [Preferred]

Pay Range

$72,786.83 - $135,385.27
