InfoSphere Data Replication/Installation Specialist

• 6-12+ Month Contract Position
• Location - Remote

Our client is looking to add a IBM InfoSphere Installation Specialist to their team. This person will complete IIDR replication installation that will pull data from DB2 iSeries tables and push to Azure Data Lake environment via Kafka. Successful project includes (most of these are done but will need cross checking):

• Install/configure Source IIDR agent in AS400
• Install/configure confluent Kafka
• Creation/secure Security roles
• Work with team to create user account with key tabs to connect with Kafka topic
• Creation of topics SOP
• Work with team to attach the entitlement to Kafka topic
• Install/configure IIDR access Server
• Install/configure Target IIDR agent in VM
• Create subscription with mapping and configuration (Set up replication)
• Work with security on Firewall ports open bidirectional between AS 400 , VM
• Work with security on Firewall port open to access server so user-group can connect from laptop using the IBM CDC UI

The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is ($70-80/hr). Actual hourly rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
