- Optomi, in partnership with a leading enterprise organization, is seeking an IT Finance & Portfolio Analyst to support a high-visibility technology organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of IT Finance, data analysis, and strategic portfolio management, helping create a single source of truth for technology spend across multiple business areas.

Responsibilities
- Consolidate and normalize financial data across multiple IT cost centers and budget owners.
- Develop a unified view of technology spend using advanced Excel tools and reporting techniques.
- Validate financial inputs and identify inconsistencies, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Analyze IT costs including labor, cloud, software licensing, and hardware investments.
- Support technology investment decisions through financial analysis and reporting.
- Track strategic initiatives and gather updates from initiative owners.
- Standardize reporting processes and help build scalable portfolio management frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate and actionable financial insights.
- Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience supporting IT Finance, Technology Finance, FinOps, or FP&A functions.
- Experience consolidating budgets across multiple cost centers or business units.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query (required) and Pivot Tables.
- Strong experience with data cleansing, normalization, and financial reporting.
- Experience analyzing budgets, forecasts, and variances.
- Ability to work independently in an evolving and ambiguous environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting technology organizations with budgets of $50M+.
- Understanding of IT cost structures, including labor, cloud, software licensing, and hardware.
- Familiarity with concepts such as Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and technology/product costing.
- Experience supporting Data & Analytics organizations or technology portfolios.
- Exposure to program or portfolio management processes.
- Experience with Power BI or SQL is a plus but not required.
