Role Description The Information Technology Business Analyst role is a full-time remote position responsible for bridging business needs with technical solutions. On a day-to-day basis, the Business Analyst will gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translate them into clear functional specifications, and work closely with IT and business stakeholders to design effective solutions. The role includes mapping and improving business processes, conducting impact and gap analyses, and supporting solution testing and validation to ensure deliverables meet business objectives. The Business Analyst will participate in meetings, prepare reports and presentations, and help maintain documentation and knowledge repositories. This position also involves ongoing collaboration with cross-functional teams and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in both business and IT practices.
Qualifications

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
Experience in business analysis, including eliciting and documenting business requirements and user stories.
Knowledge of business processes and process improvement methodologies, with the ability to map and optimize workflows.
Understanding of Information Technology concepts, systems, and software development or implementation lifecycles.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional teams.
Proficiency with business analysis tools (e.g., requirements management tools, diagramming tools, collaboration platforms).
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in Agile or other project management methodologies, and familiarity with documentation standards and testing support.
