About the Opportunity:

The Information Security Analyst role is critical for protecting the organization’s systems and strengthening cybersecurity. This position involves managing multiple security functions, leading key initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain a secure and resilient banking environment. The role supports both preventive and detective security efforts and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, contributing significantly to the organization''s security posture.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts using enterprise security tools.
• Serve as backup administrator for various security tools including firewalls, intrusion prevention, data loss prevention, email security, and SIEM.
• Coordinate annual user access reviews across applications and critical systems.
• Develop communications, awareness content, and training materials to promote security culture.
• Document and support remediation of control gaps through security posture management and risk assessments.
• Administer vulnerability scanning tools and collaborate with IT on remediation.
• Oversee privileged and administrative activities to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Coordinate social engineering tests, training, retesting, and phishing reporting.
• Sanitize IT equipment following security policies.
• Develop and maintain security procedures and documentation.
• Support audit and regulatory requests by gathering and providing necessary information.
• Participate in additional projects to support team goals and growth.
• Travel up to 5% to corporate locations as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Preferred security certifications include CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, or Security+.
• Minimum three years of hands-on or audit experience in IT, information security, or security operations within regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements including FFIEC guidance, FDIC, and DFPI regulations.
• Preferred experience with network penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and securing various environments.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
• Effective communication skills to work with employees, executives, and external vendors.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

Salary range from $75,000 to $95,000 per year.
