Information Security Analyst

Overview

Insight Global is partnering with a banking company based in Des Moines Iowa to hire a Security Analyst to support enterprise security and risk management initiatives. This individual will assist with vendor security assessments, compliance efforts, and security program operations while working closely with IT and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow within cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).

• Key Responsibilities
• Support third-party/vendor security assessments by evaluating vendor controls, identifying security gaps, and ensuring alignment with internal and global security standards
• Assist in conducting risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with IT and business units to implement secure, user-friendly processes and controls
• Help maintain and update security policies, standards, and procedures to align with organizational and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to security awareness initiatives, including training and communication efforts across the organization
• Assist with operational security activities, including incident response support and issue tracking
• Support ongoing security program management and compliance efforts
• Participate in vendor risk oversight (VRO) activities by helping evaluate and monitor security risks related to third-party relationships

Compensation:

$20/hr to $28/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
