Job Summary
An ILM Business Systems Analyst is a key strategic role that promotes the organization's information lifecycle management vision to its operational reality. They are responsible for assisting the ILM Business Architect's on key initiatives, mapping the current and future state of business processes, people and technology, and hitting project milestones through multiple phases. This role drives the day-to-day deliverables for defensible deletion, partner projects with Data Security, Metric builds, and process documentation.

Responsibilities
- Gathers information from business units and translates them to current work processes within data security and governance tools.
- Translates strategic goals into actionable workstreams in support of ILM initiatives.
- Collects key foundational artifacts for build or modification of Data Policy, standards, procedures, ontology maps, and data models.
- Assist Business Architects with preparation for the ILM Committees and prepare Monthly Flash Reports for senior leadership and broader audiences.
- Partner with Ascension Technologies teams to provide information for those teams to carry out work for project deliverables.
- Build data visualizations to support projects and track ILM Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
Skills/Experience:
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Basic knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models.
- Basic knowledge of computer software, such Excel, GCP, SQL, etc.
- Moderate knowledge of visualization software, such as Looker, Tableau, etc.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field preferred
