Job Summary
Amazon is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Analytics Engineer to develop and implement advanced analytical models that improve manufacturing efficiency, capacity planning, labor optimization, and cost performance.
The ideal candidate will possess strong industrial engineering expertise combined with analytics, manufacturing systems modeling, business case development, and data-driven decision-making. Experience with AI-enabled manufacturing analytics and factory simulation tools is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Industrial Engineering & Manufacturing Analytics
Develop and maintain integrated Industrial Engineering (IE) models covering:
Capacity
Labor
Material Flow
PFEP (Plan for Every Part)
Cost (COGS)
Build capacity models using:
Cycle time
OEE
Yield
Bottleneck analysis
Develop labor models for:
Headcount planning
Labor utilization
Labor cost optimization
Perform buffer and WIP analysis to improve production flow.
Create process flow diagrams (PFDs) and value stream maps.
Support factory layout and material flow optimization.
Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis for production planning.
Support factory ramp-up, installation, commissioning, and operational readiness.
