Job Title: Icertis Data Migration Subject Matter Expert SME

Seeking a highly motivated Icertis Data Migration Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the rollout of Icertis CLM as part of a broader enterprise transformation program. The SME serves as the primary expert responsible for migrating both structured contract data and unstructured contract documents from legacy Booz Allen systems into the Icertis Contract Intelligence (ICI) platform. This role ensures accuracy, completeness, traceability, and compliance with Icertis API standards, ICI object models, metadata requirements, and document handling rules.
The SME partners with business owners, CLM functional leads, technical integration teams, and Icertis platform engineers to define mappings, validate transformations, and drive end-to-end readiness across mock cycles and cutover.
Key Responsibilities
· Review, update, and maintain the Icertis Data & Document Migration Strategy, including scope, sequencing, dependencies, and environment readiness.
· Lead refinement of data mapping workbooks, including mandatory fields, attribute level logic, and legacy to ICI object structures.
· Define and manage document migration requirements, including parent/child folder structures, document types, metadata, and linkage rules.
· Validate alignment across configuration workbooks, migration templates, and ICI API constraints (UTC timestamps, rich text fields, throttling limitations, standardized response structures).
· Validate document readiness for Discover AI extraction where applicable, coordinating with Icertis SMEs on feasibility, volume constraints, and processing limitations.
· Provide technical oversight to data conversion and ETL developers throughout extraction, transformation, validation, and load cycles.
· Conduct detailed reconciliation of legacy data and documents against Icertis load results, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
· Troubleshoot and resolve data mapping, document linkage, and API related defects across mock cycles.
· Support integration and user acceptance testing related to migrated data and documents.
· Provide regular status updates and partner with internal and vendor teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Qualifications
Proven experience delivering data migration into CLM or enterprise systems (Icertis strongly preferred).
Strong skills in SQL and ETL tooling for data extraction, cleansing, and transformation.
Familiarity with Icertis data structures, configuration workbooks, and metadata models.
Experience with document-migration processes, including folder structures, document categorization, and metadata linking.
Understanding of Icertis API behaviors and limitations (standard responses, UTC dates, throttling, rich-text fields).
Ability to troubleshoot complex data and document issues across multiple systems.
Nice to Have Skills
Experience supporting Booz Allen transformations or Icertis implementations.
Background in contract lifecycle management, federal contracting, or large-scale data conversion programs.
Prior paralegal experience in federal contract management.
Familiarity with Discover AI or similar document extraction and classification technologies.
