Role Description: The HRIS Payroll Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Fishers, IN, responsible for supporting and optimizing HR and payroll systems to ensure accurate and timely employee pay. This role manages and maintains HRIS data, reviews and audits payroll information, and processes changes such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and compensation adjustments. The HRIS Payroll Analyst collaborates with HR, Finance, and Operations to troubleshoot system issues, configure workflows, and implement updates that improve data integrity and efficiency. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating reports, reconciling payroll records, and responding to employee and leader inquiries about pay, timekeeping, and HRIS functionality. This role also assists with system testing, documentation, and training to help team members use Dayforce effectively and in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with owning HRIS changes and payroll processing, including data entry, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Excel and HR/payroll reporting tools.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations, wage and hour practices, and basic HR processes such as onboarding and terminations.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple deadlines and maintaining accurate records.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain system and payroll concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively with HR, Finance, and Operations, while also managing independent tasks and priorities.
- Experience with time and attendance systems, data security practices, and process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
