- A day in the life
- Data Extraction: Pull information from electronic health record databases, medical claims, and billing systems using SQl
- Data Cleaning: Check data quality, fix errors, and organize complex medical datasets
- Reporting & Dashboards: Build visual tools in software like Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators and patient outcomes
- Trend Analysis: Study readmission rates, treatment costs, and disease patterns to support business and clinical decision
What we are looking for.
- Required
- 5+ years of Deep expertise in healthcare payer processes: Enrollment, Eligibility, Benefits, Claims Adjudication, Billing, Provider Management
- Strong SQL proficiency
- Ability to analyze data across multiple systems/sources
- Solid understanding of database design, schemas, and data relationships
- Proven ability to analyze, reconcile, and troubleshoot payer data (claims, membership, benefits)
- Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and how they apply to healthcare data (e.g., predictive analytics, automation, insights)
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional designs and data mappings
- Experience across domains such as Broker Data, CMS, Benefit Design, Demand model, competitive intelligence, and market entry
- Strong collaboration skills across business, data, and engineering teams
