Job Description :

  • Position Summary:
  • Responsible for software and hardware procurement, inventory management, coding and approval of invoices, software license audits, IT product renewals and maintenance and update of vendor scorecards.

Essential Functions:

  • Utilizing asset-tracking software, ensure accurate tracking of Gordon Food Service computers from order and receipt to disposal.
  • Ensure assignment of appropriate scan-codes. Eliminate/reduce duplicate assets in asset-tracking software.
  • Coordinate routine recycling for old computer equipment ensuring secure data disposal takes place.
  • Track, research, and resolve computer assets that have not checked in for an extended period of time.
  • Participate in the design, development, documentation, analysis, creation of asset management tools and standards.
  • Collaborates with IT technical staff as needed to determine hardware, software and system functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with business teams to ensure understanding of procurement software, train users as needed.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure pricing is appropriate and accurate, negotiating pricing and services when needed.
  • Prepare and/or assist in AOP for PC’s and other end-points, technology maintenance renewals, MFP’s, and confer with budget holders as needed.
  • Participate in internal/external software audits.
  • Creates and submits POs, reviews invoices, and produces and distributes other reports as required for asset management,
  • asset procurement, and IT financial reporting.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills and good organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment.
